The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor provides 4,000 RPM for faster cutting and REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence ensures maximum performance, and protection from overload, overheating and over-discharge. The M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC8.0 battery (not included) delivers 50% more power and runs 50% cooler than M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC Batteries while still being fully compatible across the M18™ platform. This circular saw has a cut capacity of 2-9/16” for tackling demanding applications at a larger capacity than any previous cordless metal cutting circular saws.
